ITINERARY
SELINUNTE: guided tour at the Eastern Hill with three temples, then the Acropolis with the ancient city, more temples and many other interesting excavations dating back to the 7th century B. C. – It is the only classical Greek city where the entire metropolis is still preserved, mainly buried under sand and earth.
SEGESTA: visit the well-preserved Greek Temple and Theater built in the late 5th century BC.
Also see a few remains of an Arabic mosque, a Norman church and the Forum Romanum at this fascinating archaeological site.
